On February 5th, HubSpot announced the members of its North America Partner Advisory Council (PAC) for 2019, and Growth Panda is proud to be listed among other esteemed members, all of whom will provide feedback and industry insights to HubSpot so the software company can build even better sales and marketing products in the future.
HubSpot selected Growth Panda, among other agencies, through a highly-competitive application process. Applicants submitted their own thoughts and ideas about HubSpot’s products, systems, and processes.
Members were selected based on the value of their ideas, and their expertise on the Hubspot Platform. The applicants’ partner tiers in the HubSpot Agency Partner Program (Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond) were also taken into consideration, with Growth Panda's Platinum Partnership being a core reason they were selected.
Each application for the PAC was reviewed by senior leaders at HubSpot before selections were made.
The History of the HubSpot Partner Advisory Council
The first HubSpot PAC began in 2017. Originally, there were two groups: one PAC for North America and Latin America, and one PAC representing HubSpot partners in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
The PACs were originally conceived as a way for HubSpot to communicate more effectively with members of the HubSpot Agency Partner Program, who provide consulting and guidance on how to use HubSpot’s products to their own clients. Through the process, HubSpot was able to gather valuable insights about how their products are used, what features their clients and partners hoped to see, and what they could do to improve the user experience.
This year, HubSpot expanded the number of advisory councils to six. The PACs now include North America, Latin America, EMEA, Australia and New Zealand, South-East Asia and India, and finally, Japan. There are 15 companies listed for the North America PAC.
The PACs meet bi-monthly via a virtual conference room to discuss the Partner Program. They will also provide feedback on HubSpot’s latest product betas and new partner tools.
Meeting the Expanding Global Marketplace
HubSpot’s expansion of the PAC program is representative of their ever-expanding global presence. Industry giants like HubSpot must cater their marketing strategies, sales processes, products, and customer service initiatives to the context of specific groups of people in differing communities to be successful on the global stage.
This is known as the process of internationalization or localization, also known as “L10n.” This is a means of adapting software to different languages, regional contexts, and local technological requirements.
According to its Investor Relations page, HubSpot has over 56,500 customers in more than 100 countries.
